Welcome to the Colleyville Heritage High School PTSA Newsletter. This communication is designed to keep you informed and engaged throughout the school year. 

The CHHS PTSA hosts numerous events and activities to support our campus and community. If you're not already a member, we encourage you to create an account on our website and join the CHHS PTSA today.

Join or Renew your Annual Membership

By becoming a PTSA member, you support your child’s school and teachers while adding your voice to the largest child advocacy organization in the nation. Our goal is to have at least one PTSA membership representing each of our 1,938 CHHS students. Parents, students, staff, and community members are all encouraged to join.

Remember, if a student is a CHHS PTSA member for at least three years, they will receive the PTSA CHampion Cord to wear at graduation. Join or renew your membership here.

Pitch In 4 Panthers

We need YOU to Pitch In 4 Panthers! This is our single largest fundraising event of the year, and its success determines the level of support the CHHS PTSA can provide to our school. Our goal is to raise $12,000 to support our 175 staff members, 1,900+ students, and 3,000+ parents at CHHS.

Panther Spirit Store

The CHHS Panther Spirit Store is now open! Check out the new apparel & accessories for the school year, and keep an eye out as more items are added!

Orders placed before July 26th will be available for pick-up at Panther Pride Night in the MP Stadium Store. Can’t make it to PPN? No worries— porch pick-up is available!

Orders placed on July 26th or after will be available for pick up at the end of August. 

New for 2024: The PTSA is hosting a Panther Provisions Spirit Shop at MP Stadium during home varsity football games! Stop by and get outfitted for all the games! #CHPantherPride

Back to School Staff Luncheon: August 6

The CHHS PTSA is hosting the annual Back to School Luncheon for teachers and staff on Tuesday, August 6th. 

We invite you to contribute to the first staff appreciation event of the year by donating a $15-$25 gift card for the luncheon. Additionally, you can sign up to help set up or serve.

Special PTSA Meeting: July 31

A special CHHS PTSA Membership meeting to discuss back-to-school events and budget amendments is called for Wednesday, July 31st at 5:30 PM via Zoom.

The PTSA membership year runs from August 1st to July 31st. If you were a member for the 2023-2024 school year, you are eligible to vote. All are invited to attend.

Birthday & Graduation Marquee Messages

Are you looking for a unique way to celebrate a birthday, 1/2 birthday, or send a graduation message? Now's your chance to reserve a spot on the CHHS digital marquee on Heritage Avenue!

Each message is $10 and will be displayed for 24 hours. Please note that reservations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance & you must be logged into our website to place an order.

Volunteer Background Check

All campus volunteers must complete a background check with GCISD annually. Volunteering details, application, and handbook are found here.  

Don't delay! During the first few weeks of the school year, it may take 2-3 weeks to process background applications.

Reserved & Painted Parking Spots

CHHS students are eligible to purchase a reserved parking spot for $100 for the 2024-2025 school year with the option to also paint their spot for $100.  

Parking spot selection begins July 29th and painting begins August 1st.

Panther Preview: July 31 and August 1

The CHHS Panther Preview will be July 31st and August 1st. Students and parents are invited to campus to complete their back to school tasks including:

  • New Student Registration
  • Meet with the nurse (medication set up, turn in immunizations)
  • Meet the administrative team
  • Visit the counseling help desk
  • Tour building / walk schedule
  • Set up lunch accounts
  • Join PTSA
  • Discover campus clubs and organizations
  • Buy parking pass
  • Order replacement door access cards
  • Pay any outstanding fines/fees
  • Pick up 24-25 ID card
  • Purchase 24-25 yearbook

*Check, cash, or cards are accepted for payments

Senior Parent Meeting: August 7

Class of 2025 Parents- Start senior year off by attending the newly designed Senior Parent Meeting on Wednesday, August 7th at 6pm in the CHHS Learning Commons.

  • Hear updates from PTSA, Project Graduation, & Baccalaureate
  • Discuss transcripts, recommendation letters, scholarships, and the GO Center
  • Learn about important dates, events, and traditions
  • Buy Senior Yard Signs
  • Get your Senior Year questions answered

Cat Camp: August 9

Freshman and new students are invited to Cat Camp from 9 am to 12 pm on Friday, August 9th.  

Students will be able to:

  • Pick up free campus t-shirt
  • Walk schedule
  • Meet teachers, counselors, administrators, and SRO
  • Take yearbook picture
  • Pick up student ID and more

Panther Pride Night: August 10

Colleyville Heritage High School is excited to announce that Panther Pride Night (PPN) is moving to Mustang Panther Stadium in 2024. Mark your calendars for August 10, 2024, because this is one celebration you won't want to miss! 

PPN is our annual community tailgate and pep rally, where we proudly introduce our outstanding sports and fine arts programs. From 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., the stadium parking lot will transform into a tailgate party. Enjoy delicious food trucks and vendor offerings, and bring the little ones to the Future Panther Kid Zone, sponsored by MaxHealth. Feel free to bring your lawn chairs!  

The excitement doesn't stop there! At 7:15 p.m., the pep rally kicks off, showcasing our incredible students and programs as we gear up for another stellar school year. This year, we're pleased to introduce a new addition to our line-up: our excellent youth sports teams will join the festivities!

Admission to the pep rally is free, making it a perfect night out for the entire family. Food and spirit gear will also be available for purchase, so you can show off your Panther pride in style.

Come join us for an unforgettable evening of fun, community, and Panther pride.

Panther Fight Never Dies! #PFND

Open House: & Parent Orientation: August 28

Open House for parents will be held on Wednesday, August 28th, from 5:45 pm to 7 pm. Parents will visit classrooms and hear from teachers in a come & go format.  

A Parent Orientation meeting hosted by the CHHS administration will follow from 7 pm to 7:45pm in the auditorium to outline CHHS policies and procedures for the year.

The 2025 Class Council invites all seniors to meet at Lake Grapevine (Track Pavilion by Oak Grove Park) on Thursday, August 8th at 6:15 am.

CHHS Alumni Association

With a shared mission to support the students of Colleyville Heritage High School, the CHHS PTSA is delighted to back the official CHHS Alumni Association in organizing and establishing an endowed scholarship for CHHS seniors.

To kick off this endeavor, CHHS Alumni will be recognized at Panther Pride Night on August 10, 2024, and host a booth at the tailgate with the opportunity to contribute to the scholarship fund.
